Well that is a bit sad to see that this blog it will not show up in the import function.
I don't know why it took until today to get this idea but I am currently working to set up a few WordPress blogs.
One as a backup, but mostly to have some private blogging spaces to still have the habit of blogging but if it's something I'm not sure if I want to post out in the wild on Tumblr I can still post about it and get it out of me.
That way I can keep up the practice of talking. Especially after noticing how little I have been talking with so much of the stuff I feel like blogging or talking about I don't know if I'm comfortable posting out in the wild.
Extra especially lately with how much identity things have been going on not just with me but the other bodies and with the the systems as a whole.
So a place where I can blog in general, a place for our identity talk that we aren't sure we want in public but so we can access it on any device because so often we are not near the same thing we write at, and a place to start backing up our online experiences, possibly also just other bloods in general possibly a public one there too
I do apologize even if this blog is for me I am the one trying to make friends and Community yet I'm not reaching out as much as I was trying to a few months ago and instead been very locked up at my desk and I do regret it.
I hope this reaches my friends and acquaintances well and in good health.
.. I typed so much of this not looking at my phone before realizing I was using the wrong language keyboard and now have to try all over 😅
As I was trying to type. I thought just for my own benefit and for any curious I'll keep a list of what I'm watching/ed so people know what I've touched and if any want to talk about them by chance.
So far I've just started so only Polybius, Don't Look at the Moon, and now Slots Available.
Edit; accidentally went into adjacent land so also now watching/ed Skinamarink, Pen Pal, This House has People in It, CH/SS, Gilbert Garfield, Ben Drowned, Don't Hug Me I'm Scared,
Try not to overwork yourself when you seriously burnt your hand and thus can't use it is hard when everything you want to do usually requires that hand
To get around it I am avoiding any computers so I am only on mobile and typing very awkwardly on here using the wrong hand and watching videos on the TV in a recliner to try to stop fidgeting.
It is not going the best thus far with how many times I've still used it and hurt it..
I'm trying..
To try to keep me entertained while trying to stop me from wanting to do things with my hands I am watching explain videos on different arg's and Creepypastas. I'm finally fully trying to get back into that genre of media
I am also planning to try to figure out a method to write a physical list for us? Like a shipping list and media list?? I'm not quite sure. Being bored and not able to move and do what I originally planned is making ideas wash my brain but not clearly.
I'm thinking possibly for everyone proper of the group I'm apart of to list our dating pools, actual fandom relationships we enjoy playing with, media we enjoy, that sort of thing. Something we should do and just haven't but a physical copy especially for rambling in wildly until we figure out the end result for digital versions we'd be comfortable sharing to have fellow fan friends.
I thought of this in part because I looked at my links and I noticed I have not been keeping them up today at all and it's mostly because I don't read or touch media often at the same time I'm accessible to doing digital archiving, while I always keep a notebook on hand when I game because I sometimes take notes or sketch things when playing. So it'd be much more accessible to actually updating.
Yes I am typing really long and talking a lot just because I feel really lonely and distracting from the pain how could you tellㅡ
I realise there aren't many gifs of Primo out there, for more than obvious reasons.
I am going to have to work on fixing that next time I'm able to go to the computer. Mostly saying this so I remember when that happens since it won't be today at least.
The reason going to the computer is always so sporadic is it's in the basement and I'm a cripple. I can't always take the stairs. And today especially I wouldn't be surprised if I'm stuck in bed unable to move at all without much pain and effort.
As much as I hate being a chronic deteriorating cripple it does give me some old man validation which can be nice. I should be in my 60s or 70s at least. Though it might be more when I'm the one around on bad days. I am the most "oh that's just being old" instead of panic and hate.
I just started watching a TV show and I need closed captioning because sometimes I just cannot process anything or I can't hear.
I've heard that people say that the captions aren't one to one because you can only have so many words per spot but how can you explain some of the captions actually being longer or just the same but different than what's being spoken.
One weird example:
Spoken: I liked her, that's too bad.
CC: It's a shame, I liked her.
Not to mention these subtitles are the fastest moving I ever saw. I tried repeatedly to stop on the line above but it seems impossible and some lines vash even while the spoken for it is still going.
And the CC part, so the sound effects, aren't synced correctly either. I can only be certain because the action described is on screen but it told me a click of a camera when he didn't hit the button yet, on top of other details. Some early some late.
I think I will only watch this show when I feel I can process the audio. It's a crime show and the subtitles are deleting information on the crime and it ruins the experience and is very confusing with the setup.
What a shame.
I haven't been talking as much as I used to and I am very disappointed because I enjoy talking here.
Things have been very slow but very stressful, though not in a negative way. Just much work.
I have been keeping up reading. I haven't found any sources yet that got me as much as Attack on Titan has, but I have been finding some I enjoy.
Deathtopia, Land of Lustrous, and Her Royal Highness Seems to be Angry are ones I'm currently quite enjoying even if they didn't draw me in the same way.
I have a good amount more to try and maybe I'll get lost in many more good stories.
I'd love any recommendations if anyone has some. 😄
Boston Scientific has some really broken sense of logic to post such ads here. What exactly kind of "audience" did they expect to find? What point in showing very triggering material to a random mass unprompted?
Go away.
