"I'd die for us" "I'd kill for us" is ok but to remember each other’s favourite colours, to boil enough water for two coffees, to truly listen to each other, to stay a while longer on bad days, to split a fruit in half because it tastes better when shared.

That’s the kind of love worth everything. The one that even lives in small things. 💕🧿♾️

What is your love language? They asked.

Prayers. I replied.

Prayers?

Yep. I pray for the one I love. Her name comes into my prayers automatically. I pray for her health, her happiness. I pray for her well-being, so that I can meet her again tomorrow. 🧿💗♾️

Two people meeting is destiny. But two people staying together is all about efforts.

When I couldn’t put love into sentences, I wrapped her in my arms wishing she could feel everything my heart struggled to confess.

Marriage isn’t about the big gestures, it’s about the little things (your presence) holding her hand when she’s nervous, bringing her flowers when she’s down, and reminding her you love her even when you argue. That’s how you keep love alive.

The only sweet pain she should feel is her arm hurting from carrying a bouquet bigger than herself.

Did you know that the English word "Candy" has a Sanskrit connection.

English: "Candy" comes from the Old French candie, which derives from the Arabic qand (meaning sugar). The Arabic word qand has roots in the Sanskrit word khāndā, meaning piece (of sugar or sugarcane).

The connection is definitely indirect but interestingly enough, it traces the influence of ancient trade and cultural exchange.

This is why I find etymology super fascinating. It uncovers long-forgotten historical connections that modern men have no memory of. But the memory is retained in the tongue, in the language, in the collective subconscious.

The new development and the mindset around it has become so narrow that we have lost the sense of community.

Housing has become gated and vertical where nobody really is aware of each other, where forget about street dogs, even hawkers and salespersons are not allowed. so now your kids won't see cats, dogs, hawkers selling snacks, colas, kulfis. Roadside sellers too are banned because of lack of space, slowly steadily we are moving towards a city without a community. Trees are been cut, because again... space.

So new smart cities will only consist of one thing - People.

People (always rushing somewhere) in cars (closed with ACs on) on roads (full of potholes).
