I think I fucked up.
I was excited this morning when FM 94.9 announced their big summer festival thing ‘cause I went last year & had a good time and I was anxious about ticket prices going up on Monday and bought a ticket even though Oceanside is like 45 minutes away from my work and I’m gonna miss the first few bands if I go after work. I dunno what happened to my “I gotta save money so I won’t spend money on concerts and stuff unless I’m really sure I wanna” attitude.
And then I noticed like 20 minutes later that 91X announced their big summer festival thing that morning and it’s on the exact same fucking day. 91X has been around since before I was born and it’s the radio station I grew up with and I love it. I only listen to their rival station 94.9 ‘cause sometimes they have less commercials and now one of the 91X DJs I grew up with went over there. Anyway, they don’t have a lineup posted yet but if it’s better than 94.9′s thing I think I’m gonna ditch that and try to give away my ticket to somebody ‘cause that drive is gonna suck for sure. But... everyone who went to X-Fest last year that I talked to said it kinda sucked and had really low turnout anyway.
