I love it because it's so deep, really. I mean, this is a wizard, who has magical capabilities and has so much power but he is still so grounded. It's very inspirational because it shows that each and every person is a value to someone or something, and that's something no one should ever forget. Everyone is important.

MASSACRED UNICORNS IN JAPANESE FOREST

We’ve just learned that a very particular incident has happened in the Japanese forest of Aokigahara. A couple of hitch-hikers discovered the bodies of three unicorns in the middle of the forest, their heads cut off and blood covering the area. The Beast Division from the Ministry are currently on the site to assess the circumstances of this massacre. They have not told the press their assessment yet as this case is quite extraordinary.

This butchery is very surprising. First of all, because unicorns are not creatures that live in Japan, they inhabit the forests of Northern Europe, and for example our very own Forbidden Forest next to Hogwarts. Traces of these creatures have never been found in Japan which is why it is quite puzzling and strange that they have been found here. One possibility is that they were captured or killed elsewhere and then moved to this forest. But why do this? And capturing these beautiful animals is a very difficult feat, they can outrun werewolves for example!

Secondly, the reasons for killing these animals is still a complete mystery but many people have put out the theory that this is related to cult. This rumour has not been proved and the majority of the people involved are sceptic but all options are being left open.

The forest of Aokigahara is also a very curious place which is sadly famous in the muggle world for its high rate of suicides. It’s been called Sea of Trees, Suicide Forest or even Japan’s Demon Forest. I’ve put a link at the end of this article with more information on this aspect of the forest if you’re interested. Even in the wizarding world, this is a unique place, where you can find spots where there is very powerful and ancient magic that seems to drip from the trees, and two feet away absolutely none.

This unsettling discovery in a disturbing forest seems to be a great puzzle and experts from all around the world are eager to help while the local population is weary and a bit fearful of what might have happened. Many beasts activists are mourning the loss of these rare magical creatures.

DRAGON POX OUTBREAK IN CHINA

Thousands of Chinese people have fallen ill after ingesting potions from the brand SuperTonic, probably containing spoiled dragon liver. Dragon pox is a highly contagious disease and the first victims were rapidly put into quarantine and administered the latest cure. However, this disease was not stopped and the conditions of the patients got worse. The doctors have managed to stabilise them by sending them into a deep sleep but this seems to be an evolution of dragon pox that the doctors are not able to treat.

Dragon pox was first observed when wizards worked with Peruvian Vipertooths but the first person to have died from it was Chaucey Oldridge in 1379 as a cure did not exist at the time and he was quite elderly. Other famous cases of outbreaks of the disease include, earlier this year, the infection of the Moldovan National Quidditch Team leaving them unable to compete in the World Cup and disappointing their fans.

Gunhilda of Gorsemoor was the one who developed the cure that is still used today but is sadly ineffective in the present scenarion. Albus Dumbledore also possibly worked on the cure in 1991 but none of his results were ever published.

The symptoms include bumps than can leave scars, green-and-purple rash or lasting greenish tinge to skin and sparks from nostrils with sneezing. Call the nearest hospital as fast as possible if you recognise any of these symptoms and do not touch the possibly infected person.

Drinking any of SuperTonic’s potions is also now banned to contain the infection as much as possible. The Chinese Auror department is now investigating the company to find the exact source of the dragon liver and to look out for any signs of foul play. They have not released an official statement of their findings yet.

Finally, the International Wizarding Association Against Magical Diseases and Maladies would like to reassure the whole of the wizarding community: “Our medical staff and brightest researchers are actively looking for a cure to this unusual outbreak of dragon pox and they will not rest until they find one. We are working at full capacity to curb the expansion of this disease and will welcome the help of any and all wizarding states; to help us save thousands of suffering patients. Please follow the guidelines we have issued and this crisis will not spread to other countries.”
