Zenos viator Galvus, Master at Arms of the Ephemeral Hunt, caught mid-transformation by the Galactic Gazette immediately before backflipping off the ship his crew just robbed and disappearing into wildspace, having just narrowly escaped the first fight to really test his limits since arriving in this world.

If you're wondering why I've played dress-up with him in this manner, it's because I used my dynamis wish to isekai him into our Spelljammer campaign, where after being rescued from the far edge of the universe he has ended up becoming a space pirate, searching once more for his enemy, his friend, the Warrior of Light, Askalaphos Areios... who was originally a D&D character of mine that got isekai'd into FFXIV.

It's been a very fun AU to throw him into.

WIP sketch of my bestie, my worstie, the iconic Zenos victor Galvus.

After being de-levelled and isekai’d into our One Piece pirate themed spelljammer d&d game (the results of my WoL’s dynamis wish, since my WoL was originally a d&d character), he has finally committed a high-profile enough crime to be given a bounty, and so I needed new art for his poster…

I do not believe I have posted anything about him, but this is the npc vampire (half vampire lord aasimar, to be exact) in question, Osuin Morvayn, affectionately nicknamed my “grumpy lamp” bc of a very old inside joke… He’s extremely antisocial, which leads to a lot of “Will you PLEASE stop bothering me?! No? Fine. That’s it. I’m leaving.” interactions when the players decided that no, actually, he can’t be left unbothered (usually because he’s being angsty and tortured about his whole food supply situation, because what’s the point of having a vampire if he’s not tortured about his inhumanity?).

anyway, he’s definitely one of my more tortured little blorbos, who i have come to love very much. the tortures will not be relenting. do not ask, unless you wish me to laugh and tell you no.

I don’t think I ever posted this because I was worried it was too horny and tumblr would hide it (and I can’t find it in my art tag, so either I was right and I never posted it or I’m right and tumblr sent it to jail), but hell with it, I’m posting it now. Would you believe this started as arm wrestling? Well, it did. But somewhere along the line he lost the plot, his pants, and his mind, and now here we are pinning repressed gay aasimar blackguards to the ground in the pile of splinters that used to be a table.

it occurred to me, as i was looking back at this old sketch of Askalaphos, that i never actually posted it. Even though it’s a little rough, I still think it’s one of my better ones of him.

testing paints, colours, and sealants to make sure all the materials play nicely… the dragon looks a little derpy (that’s what i get for not sketching first, but my pencil would have just torn up the fabric, so i think i’ll make a stencil for the outline), but i am really excited to play more with that fire. It’s giving me some Maleficent vibes, and I love it so much.
