Zenos yae Galvus ⸙
finished endwalker. i am very normal about him
Someone on reddit said "Zenos would respect trans people, so long as they transitioned into a stronger lifeform for him to fight", so I had to make this

The moment he felt truly alive
I do think people who say "travel companion Zenos" isn't interesting/realistic are missing that 1.) Zenos would quite literally do anything for the WOLs attention, including sitting still occasionally. And 2.) The comedy of the rest of Etheirys reacting to, and having to deal with the WOL choosing to keep Zenos around is a type of awkward comedy that frankly writes itself. Could you imagine the Scions reacting to the WOL going everywhere with Zenos in toe and having to address the fact that he's in the room? Could you imagine Zenos’s flat commentary in the background to all the silly/ crazy things that happen throughout the course of an expansion? Could you imagine watching all the WOL's friends having to both see and admit to themselves that Zenos attempting to be "good" (i.e. aiding the WOL when they ask) is a thousand times more terrifyingly uncomfortable for them than Zenos being a god-like enemy because it forces them to think over concepts of morality and character growth that are beyond the black and white of "good people are always good and right and bad people are always bad and wrong"?
Also I live for more examples of WOL/ Azem's silly toxic trait being befriending everything on the star (and beyond) with a pulse regardless of the implications of befriending said person, or their past transgressions. Azem basically excitedly bullied, pestered, and dragged Hades around so much that they eventually became close friends. And because Azem was always showing up to help people, and Hades would be there with them, people soon respected Hades enough to care about him, and in turn Hades cared about the people around him (in his own distant way). It would be so poetic and perfect if the same thing happened with Zenos and the WOL, please I need this so much.
