Guess it’s about time I put up a post about my plans given recent tumblr-related events, huh? For those interested: Ao3 is where all of my fic gets posted, and Twitter is where I reblog (retweet, I’m going to have to get used to saying) TF art, cats, and the like. I also have accounts at pillowfort and dreamwidth, though I’ve been less active on both so far. I can’t say for sure where I’ll wind up spending the most time in the future right now, but regardless, I’m not disappearing from the internet altogether. I’m not even changing my name! If the links aren’t working for anyone, don’t worry: just search for rizobact and look for the Jazz avatar :)
I’m not planning to delete this blog, but I don’t know that I’m going to continue it either, and if I happen to get axed by the algorithms I’ll probably just let it go. I never did use tumblr much to host or promote my own content, but rather as a place to collect things I enjoyed so I could see them again easily in one place. To that end, I’m going to be going through my drafts and posting the things I’ve been hoarding (apologies for the spam!), then back things up.
The other thing I’ve valued about this site is the people I’ve met and interacted with since I joined. I’m thrilled and flattered to already have several new Twitter followers before even sitting down to write this post, and I hope that whatever platforms we all wind up on, I don’t lose touch with any of you (chatty thing that I am, lol XD But seriously, I’m going to miss the way things were so much. Alas, the road goes ever on and on...)
