what would it be like if rk1k decided to get a pet (whatever kind you think fits them best)???
Well, Markus wants a cat (cuz it’s my headcanon that Markus is a crazy cat lady lmao) and Connor wants a dog, so they compromise and get two dogs (Cause who can resist Connor’s puppy eyes, Markus sure cant).
Seriously tho, I believe Markus is kinda hesitant about having animals, as both of them are very busy and it’s a huge responsibility, but after realizing that it would do huge good to Connor’s PTSD to have an emotional support animal, he caves and they get a little Shiba Inu puppy (Because Connor saw ‘’hachi: a dog’s tale’ once and has cried for a week, so Markus gets him a puppy for Christmas. Connor is over the moon with happiness. He names the dog Link.
After that, they raise the furry baby together, that is, until, one rainy night, Markus comes home looking a little bit guilty and Connor spots a tiny, dirty and malnourished kitten in his jacket (Markus heard the meowing and his heart just could not handle leaving the tiny baby out there). Surprisingly, the grey kitty (she’s actually grey and not brown, after they wash her) has one green and one blue eye, just like Markus, so Connor instantly falls in love with her too. Markus names her Eve.
They are a bit worried that Link is not gonna like the new addition to a household, but they’re WRONG. Link instantly adopts the baby kitten and they could be found chilling together, when Link isnt jumping into Markus’ paints and running around like a damn Nyan Cat but dog edition (Markus: CONTROL YOUR DOG, CONNOR!), or when Eve isn’t busy pissing in Connor’s shoes (Connor: I KNEW WE SHUDNT HAVE LET THIS MONSTER INTO THE HOUSE! WHAT AM I GONNA WEAR TO WORK NOW, MARKUS??? ALL MY SHOES SMELL OF CAT PISS!).
But, ofc, they both love their fur kids dearly.
