if rollo had an overblot, how do you think it would go? personally, i think maybe something related to his hatred of magic and mages? something maybe happened to trigger his trauma if his brother’s death. it would be very angst-y if it isn’t the magic of others that caused the trigger but his own. idk maybe he sets something on fire and it nearly kills people.

also, i just need a rollo overblot in general because the concept of a hellfire themed overblot would be so cool! but instead of like, the hellfire being themed around esmeralda, it’s themed around how magic caused his brother to die in a fire. also something something about how rollo’s overblot is fire and he nearly dies to fire just like his own brother.

also hellfire overblot = hellfire = religious themes = catholic guilt. give me catholic guilt rollo

Truthfully I haven't thought about it that much because I figure Crowley is doing something to trigger the overblots, like there's something in the air in NRC that makes it significantly more likely. They're supposed to be pretty rare normally. If Crowley's innocent, then... it kinda means that Rollo Flamme of all people is more emotionally stable than the overblotters

I have no doubt that a Rollo overblot would look fucking awesome, the religious theming and the fire stuff, there's kinda no way it couldn't look cool

Personally, considering how deeply Rollo hates magic, I feel like he might try to reject his own overblot and maybe die in the process? Like he'd be fighting his own overblot monster....??? Maybe? Malleus talked about how good it felt and stuff, but he loves magic. It might be agony for Rollo. Or maybe the overblot takes over he's suddenly kinda down? Several angles you could use to approach it!

You should write something! I've legit never considered Rollo overblotting in any of my fics and I don't think that'll change anytime soon, but I bet it's something people wanna see. You can give the people what they want~

Do you think mallerollo would sorta worry when theres other bodily fluids than saliva and semen during sex? I think malleus would worry if rollo got a nosebleed out of exhaustion, and/or if he bit him til it draws blood he’d immediately soothe the wound with magic

I feel that rollo himself would ignore a nosebleed if he’s horny enough, but I think he’d be mortified when he squirts for the first time though (as opposed to malleus thinking it’s super hot)

Like you said, Malleus would care more than Rollo. Rollo's fine with a bit of blood (or maybe even more than a bit) and Malleus wants to make sure his Rollo is healthy and enjoying himself. So, yeah, I agree and don't have a ton to add!

Essentially, my overall sex opinions about Malle and Rollo can summed up like this:

Rollo is the horniest man alive and is down for a wide variety of degeneracy

Malleus loves Rollo very much and enjoys indulging him, but hurting him feels bad

Secondly, thank you!! 💖💖💖 It's really something that we've gotten to the point where I have like ~20 fics in the mallerollo tag. I love mallerollo, I pour my love for them into my fics, and I'm always happy that other mallerollo fans can enjoy them, too. There aren't many of us, after all!

I'm always heartened by these sorts of messages and it helps keep up the drive to write more mallerollo~

Hmm, as in Malle has a draconic instinct to maybe pacify Rollo via hypnosis? Maybe to keep him in the hoard? I'm open to this, though I have to turn it over in my head for a while to see how I feel about it

Possession is interesting, I haven't dabbled very much in it. Who would be doing the possessing? It might be fun to have an older version of Rollo maybe 'take the reigns' so to speak during that dance at the masquerade... all while younger Rollo's still present mentally and internally screaming~ Plus we'd get a flustered Malleus

Hello! I was wondering what you plan to work on in the future now that Kindling is done. I saw something in your posts about a hypnosis related fic? Will that be multi-chapter, or a oneshot?

Hi! You can always check my pinned post for what I've got coming next and what I'm working on (and, if they're finished, how long they are), but I'm sure other people have this same question so I'll answer it here, too

I wrote two fairy tale oneshots for a zine. The zine releases next week, meaning I can only post them after that. I always skip a week between fics, so I'll post the first one on the 25th, then the next on the 8th of April. After that, on the 22nd, I'll start the vampire AU sequel (O Death, Where Is Thy Sting?). That might be the last fic for a while because I'm working on kinktober stuff and they'll have to go up in October. The hypno thing is for that, it's also a oneshot. I'm like halfway through two other kinktober things, like I have the set ups all done but haven't done the sex parts yet

I don't have a lot of longfics left in me since I've written a bunch and I don't want to retread too many ideas. I have one that I'm thinking about (arranged marriage), but I'd say don't expect it this year. I might start working on it after I feel like I have enough kinktober stuff. We'll see. I'm taking things slowly since I've been reading more books to try and replenish the writing juices

Do you think Rollo could have OCD?

I'm not an expert on OCD, but I don't see why not. He does some things that raise eyebrows, right, his lunch always being the same being the biggest example.

I think any headcanon with Rollo that gives him something else to hate himself about is something that could add to his character. To me, his self-loathing is his main trait, so adding more fuel to that fire is usually interesting. Especially when tied to his trauma regarding his brother

I don't really have erogenous zone headcanons because the term is so connected to Hetalia to me and then my thought process gets derailed because I have to remember that Hetalia exists. And I feel like it implies something beyond the normal 'zones,' like I have to pick, say, their shoulder or an ankle, rather than their thighs or chest or something

This might not be what you're looking for, but I feel like Rollo's pervert level is high enough that he could take pleasure from being touched anywhere. Maybe the one thing outside of the bog standard (but becoming increasingly normal) erogenous zones that most people have would be that he's particularly into getting his hair pulled?

As for Malle... he's more of a romantic, so it's more about how he's touched than where... though I imagine his neck is sensitive (but again, that's a normal zone, so). If his tail's out, maybe he's like a cat and rubbing the spot above his tail would feel good

If Rollo and Malleus had ex partners do you think they'd be jelaous of them, like they start asking one another bunch of questions about their exes?

Absolutely they would. I think Malleus could mostly accept (though he wouldn't like thinking about) a former, like, friend with benefits for Rollo, but if he was in love with someone, Malleus would be furiously jealous. Any mention of that person would make him pout forever. Malleus would totally want to know everything about the ex, why Rollo doesn't love them anymore, why he loved them in the first place, etc etc. It would be overwhelming. Most of all, Malleus would crave reassurance that Rollo loves Malleus more than his ex. Rollo telling him his dragon dick is the best he's had also would help, just not as much (could easily descend into "He likes having sex with me, but he doesn't love me like he loved his ex"). If Rollo had multiple former lovers, it would be everything I said but exponential depending on how many.

If Malleus had an ex, or heaven forbid exes, Rollo wouldn't be a fan. He'd be very interested in how they looked, like whether or not he feels like he's comparably attractive. If he doesn't, he would seethe about it and it would be yet another wall Malleus would have to tear down to get close to Rollo. You know, "You'd rather be with them, wouldn't you? I'm just convenient. You probably think of them when we have sex!" etc etc. The love part isn't as important, but it's still an issue. If Malleus only dated fae before, Rollo would decide that Malleus thinks of him as a fling, one that's just a blip over the course of his long life even if he stays with Rollo until he dies, and that he'll go home and marry a fae. "You think of me as your little human whore you can play with until you meet your real love, don't you?!" And if Malleus visits Rollo in Fleur City rather than living with him, then nothing will convince him that Malleus doesn't have a variety of 'whores' he visits and that Rollo is just one of many. He'd still have sex with him, though
