Rosa-Mei knew, knew, knew she had too much energy. That the energy would come back to bite her. She was willing to accept the mental and physical price six cups of black coffee.
What she wasn’t prepared for was someone else suffering for her caffeine crime. On the bright side, at least she wasn’t still carrying a coffee when her hands spasmed and she dropped books on a little kid’s head.
“Oh sh- oh, I’m sorry baby girl, that’s my bad.” She temporarily ignored the mess she’d made in favor of crouching her huge self down next to the little girl, eyebrows knit and lips pressed together.
“Are you hurt?”
