Roach hatches!!!!

Wanted to make a mini comic to sorta work out Roach’s parents design (and to also draw pebble Roach cause he’s just cute) so here we have it.

That's kinda funny because I used to be on Zoloft but then it just stopped working for me so I eventually got off of it and then later was put on Lexapro mainly for counteracting the anxiety my ADHD meds gave me LMAO

Oooooh Roach and their extra legs!

I wonder how uncommon that would be for Eridians? Maybe sort of like polydactyly in humans?

Also, how are they accepted by other, "typical" five-legged Eridians?

I’d imagine it wouldn’t be too crazy to have like 6 legs or so instead of the “normal” 5 legs cause fun fact, Roach’s parents both have 6 legs. Both of them are considered relatively normal to others.

Roach however is considered strange cause yeah sure maybe like 7 legs is ok but damn bro has 12. Save some legs for the rest of us. And since he’s got all them legs he’s definitely a bit wider (longer?) than normal which also weirds other eridians out. Hence why he’s been put in the shitty eridian support group and hangs out with the other weirdos

I really love that you brought up being polydactyl tho cause that’s such an interesting take. I didn’t even consider it lmao (even tho my cat is polydactyl) so that’s deffo part of the lore now

In short, yes he’s weird, yes other eridians think he’s weird. He’s just chillin tho and doesn’t mind too much. He has more fun with the other weirdos anyways :)

Human Roach design be upon ye

I’m deff gonna sketch them out more to hopefully get a more solid design but here!!!!! Here he is!!

Info dump:

He’s polydactyl in both his hands and feet (but I wasn’t about to draw some dawgs for free so just imagine it). Has an extra finger on the left hand and a split thumb on the right

Their hair is sooo fucked up and cut so weird but they dye the ends of it green (to resemble the grassy top of Roach’s eridian design)

He’s got a red-ish birthmark on both arms that starts sorta in the middle of the back of the arm and comes around to the middle of the front (resembles the red part of eridian Roach’s leg)

Absolutly looooves bracelets and can’t get enough of them (I will be giving him more soon of course)

Also loves cargo pants (so many pockets !)

Some crumbs of Roach lore:

Roach’s parents also look weird it’s not just him. Only big difference is that they have a normal consistent size (unlike their weird child) and only 6 legs instead of 12 like Roach

Their legs can bend either way (forwards or backwards)

Legs bend forwards when sitting/laying down (similar to when a person kneels) and bend backwards when walking (like dog legs)

The actual height of Roach is unknown (for reasons I will say later…)
