road 96 is such a beautiful fucking game??? like?? and i'm not just talking visually, i mean emotionally. the way that once you get a teen to the border and across, the next teen you play as, you can see and hear the echoes of the previous teen. the way the other characters will sometimes give them (you) a passing mention, and how their (your) graffiti is still visible at the final cave. the intertwining lives that only you know exactly how they weave together.

Road 96 is a game about hope under a dictatorship and about forming community and survival as a minority. And it's also about how the little choices will get you, oh you might dream of a glorious revolution but did you help people along the way, did you sit and listen to them. What did you say when you didn't think it would matter, did you choose to stay silent. You can sacrifice yourself all you want when the big moments strike but did you do the work. Were you kind?
