Tribute to Spirou, the character created by Rob-Vel and Franquin
In the reading room in the Comic book museum, Inês and me were, obviously, reading. I found some noticeable pages and panels. These are all mobile pictures so quite hazy.
The page in which Spirou has a twin brother. He never reappeared. Spirou and his twin work together to cheat on a running game.
“This drawing is a hommage by Franquin, made when Rob-Vel passed away at April 27th 1991, published in a special issue of Le journal de Spirou number 2772 at May 29th 1991.”
“I want to say thanks to Rob-Vel, my father...”
(This all is loosely translated)
This drawing isn’t quite Franquin’s regular style, it’s pretty.
“I want to see what’s going on... Dear god, that’s terrible! Spirou! Fantasio! What should I do?”
Spirou singing the song of the Amis de Spirou club, in Dutch. Yes, yes, I might should have taken a picture of the French version.
Happy 76th anniversary to my fav bellhop !!! X)
