Yesterday was the first day of my summer class, Hip Hop Aesthetics: The Visual & the Sonic. It's a MA-level class in the Department of Performance Studies at NYU. I'll try and post what we read and what we watch/listen to every other day or so.
Yesterday's material: Malcolm Budd “Aesthetics"
