The word beguiling comes to mind on this track by Sorrow, the group formed by Rose McDowall (Strawberry Switchblade) with then husband Robert Lee. The lyrics are a bit enigmatic, but still charming. Recently re-released.

But here we have a delightful bonus from those fine fellows at the #BFI (may the heavens bless her and all who sail within): off air audio recordings exist for several otherwise missing episodes and those #Brave pioneers of the BFI have included them along with some basic reconstructions of a visual element. With this first reconstructed ep #That takes the form of promotional photos‚ deployed as appropriate to the action‚ and some (fairly basic) CGI animation for scenes of #Robots at work. Make no mistake‚ if you're imaging something like the Doctor Who reconstructions you'll be disappointed; likewise the audio #Quality here is not quite on a par with the DW surviving audios. In fact for all the reconstructions I would recommend having subtitles on #I found it helped immensely. But don't think me ungrateful! It's wonderful of the BFI to have even included these episodes on their set #Where many other dvd companies wouldn't have bothered (alas Network only included one surviving audio on their Public Eye releases when #There are definitely several more in existence; of course this could be an issue with the owners of the recordings.. I digress). A lovely #Surprise and it warms the heart that such material is available at all. A pity then that I just didn't enjoy this story... What was #Evidently one of the most visually impressive episodes of the season does not translate well in audio only and Ed Bishop's space captain in #Breakdown is more irritating than compelling (sorry Ed). A strong secondary cast is largely wasted and the story just chugs along blandly #A bit of a disappointment I'm afraid altho the central scene (an alien being has its thoughts read with unexpected results) is effective
