This fabulous black gown was designed by Robert Kalloch for Norma Shearer as Consuelo Croyden in the 1942 film 𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒃𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓. The dress was used later in 1943 when it was worn by Lana Turner in a publicity photo for 𝑺𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔, though the dress does not seem to appear in the film.
