Recs mas 2017 - December 12th: Ruby red
My sister recommended Ruby red to me, and I loved it! This was the book that got me really into reading YA books more than two years ago. Last month I reread it, and it’s still one of my favorite books.

[06/08/17] Day 6: Well Read I remember reading this all the time and I still love it so much! 📚
#BBBookstagram day 22: #kissmequick Although not the best kiss I've read about, certainly the first kiss I read about! This book definitly made me a bibliophile. Love the bodylotion by @behindthepagesstore #robijnrood #rubyred #kerstingier #blossombooks #behindthepagesstore
“Het was een mooie kerk met kleurige gebrandschilderde ramen, lichte zandstenen muren en rekken waarop waxinelichtjes zachtjes flakkerden, elk vlammetje een gebed of een wens.”

So I just saw the Rubinrot/Ruby Red movie based on the novel by Kerstin Gier..
And I thought it was pretty good! It has been a while since I've read the books, but what I do remember was that the three books formed one story so the first book was mostly an introduction to this world.
So I get why they changed some things, because (while we don't get most answers, like in the book) the movie stands perfectly on its own. Yes, I want to see the next one, but the ending still felt like a sort of conclusion, with *SPOILER*Gideon and Gwen finally sharing a kiss at the ball (which is way more romantic than in a church, btw).*END SPOILER*
Maybe I have to re-read the book and rewatch the movie then, but as it stands now I think it's a really good movie and some of the things I remember and they changed didn't bother me.
What did you guys think? Have you seen it?
Bereit? - Bereit, wenn du es bist. ---------- Ready? - Ready when you are.

Guys, can somebody who has seen the Rubinrot/ Ruby Red movie tell me what exactly they've changed from the book?
I can't speak German very well, and I would love to know, since everybody talks about it! :D
Thanks in advance! ;)
