Plot Bunnies: Robin Babcock
First things first: Robin Babcock has always been able to see ghosts.
Ever since she can remember, Robin has had the ability to see and talk to the departed. She learned quickly as a child that while interacting with imaginary friends were acceptable- interacting with dead people wasn’t exactly what one would consider normal. So, Robin learned to keep it a secret from those around her, living with this ability.
It can be difficult, being the only person that she knows that can interact with those that were supposed to have moved on. Most of the time, the ghosts are friendly... and sometimes, they’re not. But what’s a girl to do, right? Robin has no idea how she was the one that ended up this way but as a teenager, it’s just a staple of her life and who she is now, like her love for music or her anxiety disorder.
And then Julie Molina, the girl across the street, lets out an ear-piercing scream one night. Alarmed and armed with only a baseball bat, Robin charges over to help her neighbor- only to find three ghost boys that Julie can apparently see?
Well, at least Robin isn’t alone now.
