The Bachelor- Damian Wayne x Female Reader- Part 6-
“Hello, Y/n.”
You glance up from your sketchbook, to meet Damian’s gaze. “What?”
“You offered to show me your art.” He states, taking the seat next to you on the couch.
“Oh.” You mutter.
You continue to guiltily redesign your work’s lines while trying to hide the book from his view. He leans toward you, peering over the book rim.
“Is that me?”
Your mouth freezes, as you glance down at the portrait. He takes the book from your hands. You watch helplessly as he studies your drawing of him, and the other eight pages full of sketches of him.
“These are really good.” He praises.
You scoff. “Like that matters, clearly you’ve already chosen.” You bite your lip the moment the words slip past.
“Made my choice?”
“Nothing.” You mutter.
“No. Don’t pull that crap on me.” He growls. “What do you mean by ‘I’ve already made my choice’?”
“Nika.” You mutter. “I saw you this morning, at the lake.”
“Oh.” He sits back gently.
You eye him. His green eyes are gorgeous. You have to stare at them every chance you get.
“These are really good.” He says, fingers flipping through the pages. “You’re really talented. Have you considered this as a career?”
He’s avoiding your statement, but you honestly don’t want to know.
“No.” you reply, trying to rip your eyes from his. “It’s hard to make a living as an artist.”
He smiled softly. “Not necessary. Selling art, yes, but you could be an illustrator, design logos and websites, or make concept art for movies, toys, or cars.” He gives you a soft smile. “You just have to find a way to use that talent.”
A blush spreads over your face. Damian smiles at you.
“How about I buy you lunch, and you show me more of your art?”
You nod, face red.
He extends his hand to you. “Let’s go, Beautiful.”
