Tried to draw a robot, clearly I need a lot more practise

i haven’t been following any inktober prompts, as much as i’d like to i think i just have to give up the ghost on prompt-like things 

but! i have been doodling sketches every day so far!! so that’s something!!!

so far it’s just been the development of this dude, not sure one a name yet (maybe casper? or gallo? or mCHL (like a super short version of mitchell)), not sure on a gender or a background story either  feel free to ignore the bakery supply address

i think most of their expressions would come thru via body lang and the antennae... kinda like a cockatoo??

mmmmight make the neck longer, not like khezu neck long, idk, i’m gonna keep working on them (pretty pleased tho! they’re neat!)

Playing with Ruby

So i have a theory that Garnet is actually a gem fusion (as in she has two gems, extra body parts and is actually very strong) and i thought of the gems that would comprise her! They are kinda sketchy but i'll elaborate more in their design (specially the weapons) later. Onyx is dead serious and logical, having a cynical sense of humor, while Ruby is very caring and trigger happy.

 Demonologist's Comment

  These pixies are the embodiment of all that is sugary and sweet. Their magic, candied as their essence, revolve around making glowing, shocking pink pastries that hover in mid-air. They play pranks in famished people that are lost in woods, leading them astray.

Artificer's Comment

 Even though they are capable of materializing every sort of sugary treat, they do not have sweet taste at all, as they are essentialy blocks of magical energy, fashioned in ways to look like a pastry. But that's not a bad thing, the nature of their magic, tiny frame and vibrant colors make them popular familiars among mages (if given proper training by a good beastmaster). Their treats can be eaten by the mage, replenishing their magical energy. 

Chef's Comment

 Everything boiled in the blood of this fairy is interestingly flavorized to be sickly sweet. In demon cuisine, we have a saying: "don't be a pastry pattie", that means to not overdo the sugar. I personally don't like them - they deceive me with their glowing pastry stuff.
