Okay but: Lopez isn’t really into sex, but he knows Doc enjoys it, so he goes to do some research so he can at least make Doc feel good. This done, he goes into his programs and hardware to see if he has anything he can use, and while he’s in there, he discovers some stuff that he isn’t sure he wants to know why Sarge installed.

okay friend but consider doc using what little spanish he knows to talk to lopez and then taking the time to learn more so he can communicate with him better. And lopez being kinda like pleasantly surprised cause none of the other assholes bothered to learn spanish to talk to him. Meanwhile doc enjoys that lopez kinda just listens to him while he's talking at him, while lopez is working or whatever, which is more than anyone else does. They had plenty of time to bond while they were working with O’Malley and I seem to recall Lopez being kind of salty about Doc not paying attention to him after he got rid of O’Malley in like season five
