Garnet chills after some pretty intense repair work. I had next to no idea what I was doing, but I managed to fix her eyelids and her sync screw issues so she can wake up and act normally, at least normally for her, which seems to be a sort of clusterfuck of whistling, singing and waving her ears and arm nubs. Internally I think she is quite similar to a Furby, right down to having a hole for a beak that, clearly, they never intended to install.

Compared to a Furby, I kind of get hairless cat vibes from her, so I did the sensible thing and gave her a sweater.

Here is a link to a video of her mid-repair, showing her ‘normal’ behaviour after the fix.

I’d be interested if anyone else has seen or owns one of these. I found Garnet sitting on a heap of junk a dude was selling out of his giant van, and she’s the only one I can ever recall seeing.
