Brutus frantically paces around his kitchen as the phone continues to dial, periodically glancing at the front door before eventually letting out a sigh of relief once he hears the operator’s voice.

“Um, H-hello? Yes. It’s…um…it’s the cook who called you earlier about the—huh?…yes, the one without a last name. Yes…yes it is really interesting. Look, I think there might have been an…error with my order.”

“Yes…yes I know you said the Christmas goose was fresh. But I don’t think it’d still be—“

“HONK!!!”

“hey!...so I got in a...let’s call it a fight...recently...ish...heh...and I kind of got...severely injured...But the good news is I’m starting to heal up...I feel a lot better than I did a little bit ago.”
