Family Science Night

On Friday, March 23rd, NHS got the opportunity alongside Interact and Key Club to help out at the annual Walnut Family Science Night. This year's theme was based on DINOSAURS! Volunteers got the chance to teach kids interesting facts about dinosaurs and the environment they lived in.

Halloween Hotel

NHS members got to dress up as ghosts and volunteer at the annual Halloween Haunted Hotel. Inside the lounge and hallways, members scared people with their ghostly makeup and creepy acting.

Mostly Ghostly

Make this year's Halloween one of the best by helping at the game booths of Mostly Ghostly located at Walnut Teen Center! This October 31, the City of Walnut is hosting its Mostly Ghostly event which includes entertainments, attractions, contests/decorations, and games which members are allowed to participate in. Members will need to wear their NHS shirt, jeans or slacks, and closed toed shoes. You need to fill out a waiver form in order to volunteer for this event. Part of the job requires member to attract people to their booth so we need lots of smiles and enthusiasm!
