All the sp parents? What have you come up with for Roger Donovan?

(I head canon him to have an inferiority complex as a parent after becoming a widow)

Ooh lol.

Well the big one is that his dad was Mayor of South Park before McDaniels (not like a super prestigious position, but it's also why Clyde is prone to erm... getting things carried out of control and why Roger was head of the Neighbourhood Watch).

I also like to think he's always owned a shoe store, Clyde just tried to lie in Terrance and Philip: Behind the Blow to sound cool for no reason because Stan's dad is also a geologist.

I also think he and Betsy are among the older parents, in part because of the fact that Clyde's sister seems to almost be an adult. So Roger's parents are contemporaries of Gerald, Randy, and Sharon's parents, but they just had him at a more "normal" age (I like to imagine that he's maybe like 4-5 years younger than Jimbo, who I had at like 14 years older than Sharon). Like many in the town, they were probably also high school sweethearts or something similar.

And I do REALLY like that one for Roger. As a single dad he seems kinda... unmoored. It's big Divorced Dad Energy minus the divorce. Also I genuinely really wanted/want him and Liane to get with each other because Eric and Clyde as stepbrothers is just the funniest thing to me and Liane deserves the W here.
