"It’s a real sensation, as a Flemish poet, to perform together with the musicians of the Italian combo Faxtet. It gives me the feeling to be always “On the Road” as the American writer Jack Kerouac described it in the 50ies. Jazz and poetry belong indeed together. Frontiers don’t exist any longer. And people get immediately the message. That’s more important than what politicians may pretend."
