Rogue of Void: Explanation of Roxy's powers

I had never thought that Void would have such interesting effects, but it makes sense if somebody can become powerful enough.

Now, essentially, the Rogue of Void steals nothingness.

How can someone steal nothingness? Well, in specific, a Rogue of Void could theoretically steal something's [lack of] existence, making it exist.

For example: You think of a neat lamp. You have a perfect idea of what this lamp is like. What is this lamp? It's ceramic, it's bright blue, it illuminates light, and it also doesn't exist because it's in your imagination.

But as a rogue/thief of void, guess what you can take away from that? You can take away that imaginary lamp's lack of existence. By taking away the essence that makes it nothing, it automatically becomes something.

Could you do rogue of rage?

You know, I swear I wrote about the Rogue of Rage before but I can’t find it anywhere

Now the Rogue of Rage is interesting because seriously, what the hell is Rage?

All we really concretely know about Rage is that it definitely includes anger, and fear, and both Heroes of Rage in Homestuck never do anything consistent

The Rogue of Rage sounds like somebody who can steal things for their allies by using anger or fear as a tool. For example bullying someone into giving you and your allies some grist or food. I have no idea what Kurloz’s mind control has to do with rage, if anything, but if it does have something to do with rage then you could just dominate people and control them into giving you things

I kind of wonder if they can steal rage/fear itself, and if that would have any use at all? Perhaps if they take fear or anger away from their allies and cripple their enemies with it

can you do rogue of heart?

Rogue of Heart sounds familiar

“One who steals souls”, in a particularly robin hood-like fashion

The Rogue of Heart is able to copy, steal or collect personalities/souls for the purpose of benefiting their allies. By copying or collecting people’s personalities, the rogue is able to distribute people in a fashion that benefits everyone. This sounds kind of confusing so here are some examples of things a Rogue of Heart might do 

Copy or steal certain personality types so other people can experience what it’s like to be a certain type of person [Through roleplay, psychic, magical or technological connection]

Absorb the best aspects of other people and share those aspects with your allies

Use your dopplegangers to steal things for your friends

That kind of thing

It’s too bad Nepeta had her head smashed in by a juggalo because I was excited to see the aspect of Heart doing something nice

I guess we can see nepeta still being a hero of heart by letting her like 50 nepeta-selves get killed for vriska

May I ask for a Rogue of Doom? It seems you haven't done that one yet, and I am curious

That's an interesting-sounding combo, I'm kind of curious too

So rogues are "i steal", benefiting their alliesDoom can mean death or destruction or failure etc

This is a strange one, because doom is traditionally a negative aspect. Like why would you ever want to provide your allies with doom?

The Rogue of Doom makes more sense as one who steals by using doom as a tool, meaning they potentially take things from people by killing them first, scavenging their corpse for useful things to provide to their allies

If it's possible for the Rogue to act in reverse, then they can also take a calamity or failure that was meant for their allies and cause their enemies to fall instead

The Rogue of Doom may also have inherent knowledge of destruction and death, and can plan their escapades around sabotage. I kind of have an idea for a snapshot character, actually, someone who goes into a temple filled with traps and tries extracting a prophetic tablet, and they're the perfect ones for the job because the security measures fail and fall apart and eventually the building itself just crumbles as the rogue of doom escapes 

So the Rogue of Doom using Doom as a tool [Similar to roxy becoming intangible+invisible in order to sneak around, stealing secrets] may be destined to use their knack for sabotage to walk unhindered and steal destructive weaponry to provide for their allies

Rogue of Hope please ?

Steal willpower and hope in order to provide for your allies

Alternately use your willpower i guess? to successfully steal things to help your friends

Rogue of Hope is an interesting one because everyone else seems to be obsessed with page of hope, heir of hope, etc

But yeah hope is all about, in jake's words, when you really want something to happen, your willpower actually affecting whether it'll happen or not, by giving you the strength or just changing things to be as such

So for your enemies, I guess whatever they want to happen will not come into fruition, meanwhile your allies will get what they want

Assuming you're well on your way through your personal quest of course

Rouge of Blood?

The Rogue of Blood is one who steals unity, leadership, affiliation, or bonding from something or someone else and provides it to their allies

An empowered Rogue of Blood, one who actually chooses to follow their path, will have a natural ability to bond people or things together, and become or appoint a proper leader in order to steal a victory for their team or similar

So while of course it's easy enough to just say you steal blood from someone to give to others, you can also use blood as a tool to steal for your allies

blood as in, unity / bonding / leadership / affiliation / literal blood

Snapshot Characters: Sylph of Blood

The Rogue of Light swallowed, nearly intoxicated from the haze of incense in the room. Smells like rose, the Rogue mused, a strange choice for the Sylph considering the occasion.

The Sylph of Blood glanced at her nails. "T̛e̕l̸l m͞e͏ ҉the̸ ͡price y҉ou͟ àre̢ w͟illin͡g ̛to͘ p͞a̢y̧."

"I have grist? I have tons of grist, and I have the codes to some really good weapons and items... I'll do whatever it takes. I'll give you all of it."

"D̶o͠ y͏ou̢ ̴th̕i͝nk I̢ ̧ha͢v̸e ͏need͜ ̡for a̛n̕y̨ ̀o̴f thos҉e thi̢ngs?͡" The Sylph circled the Rogue, eyes flitting over her body. The Rogue was rooted under her gaze, and by her cold hand. Brushing the Rogue's hair behind her ear, exposing her neck: "Y̵o͘u hàv́e ̵s͜om͟et̡h̴i̸ng el̛se Ì ̧want̢."

The scent of rose was overwhelming now. "An̢d͘ ̸you w̶ilļ ̶gi̵v͡e͝ ìt to me͘.͘"

The Rogue of Light had an unprecedented charisma. She somehow drew the attention of all she spoke to, banding the scattered teams together, giving them direction for the first time. All those who bonded with her cause experienced apparent untold fortune and luck. Nobody noticed the Rogue's paling complexion, or the mark on her wrist.
