While I don't think either of them would do this often, I think X'vahl would def be the one to do it to Erenville more so than the other way around. Erenville is far more likely to pull X'vahl aside privately if he wants to say anything that might be considered inappropriate a la when this happened⤵

X'vahl is however, very expressive and Erenville has learned to read him quite well, so I think more so than whispering something inappropriate X'vahl would be more inclined to flashing Erenville suggestive looks in public when he thinks no one else is looking. I think they could have entire "inappropriate" conversations that way.

Liliana had been staring at the same page for over three hours now and she still could not comprehend the words on it. The headache was growing even more painful and she let out a frustrated groan. She leaned back in her chair and stared up at the dark ceiling where the dim lamp flickered with the dancing flames trapped within the lamp's glass confines.

She knew what she was reading, she did. But for some reason, her brain would not allow her to understand it and it was making her want to gnaw the corner of the table she was sitting at. She surmised that it was one of those days where she was unfocused and her brain disallowed her to do anything involving the use of brain power. Which was fair, she had recently come back from a long trip hunting down a few creatures for some gil, and so she was downright exhausted. But she would have thought she'd have some energy to read a stupid book.

Clearly, she was wrong.

With a heavy sigh, Liliana shut the book and got up. The young Au Ra woman dragged herself over to the soft bed and flopped back down before making herself comfortable underneath the covers. Hopefully, her brain won't be such a drama queen tomorrow.

Little warm up doodle before I went on to drawing other more important things.

13. how long do you usually take on a piece I noticed that it's usually between 5 to 10 hours, with things rarely taking longer. It all depends on comfort zone, I guess. Humans: More work, more time invested. Dragons, critters: Ez.

23. what's something you hope people notice when looking at your art I honestly have no idea. Maybe how much I break my mind trying to come up with colours. Or how I literally all the time only use warm colours. Besides that, I'd say just all the small and tiny symbolism echoing back to my OCs but that one is hard to grab up anyway if I barely talk about them anyway, hah.

mama bree, I'm interested in the eyes like coal spell for the future, but where I live juniper berries are expensive and hard to find, what could be some alternatives? thank you for your time!

The Juniper Berries in this particular spell act as a deterrent to thieves and intruders, so you can substitute any other herb that shares that property. Here are some examples:

Aspen Twigs

Cactus Spines

Caraway Seeds

Mustard Seed

Red Peppercorns (also in the spell)

Thistle Stems or Leaves

If you don’t have any of these things to hand, substitute your favorite plant for general protection.

If it’s simply a matter of needing to find your herbs on a budget, I highly recommend checking out online suppliers like The Magickal Cat and Ruth Roy’s Wellcat Herbs. Both have lots of quality herbs and sundries at very reasonable prices, and they’ll ship just about anywhere. There are also plenty of witch-owned shops on etsy that may carry what you need.
