Hey, there. Could you please tell me what software did you use to make the Crimson Peak's gif? :)

Of course I can! I used movie maker to cut up the main video file into smaller more manageable sizes (like files only around 3-5 seconds), and then applied it to Photoshop CS6 to crop, edit, colourise and save them for the internet.
