A tag-y thing.
hannah-in-wonderland tagged me:
Rule one: Always post the rules Rule two: Answer the questions the person tagged you and ask 11 new ones Rule three: Tag 11 people and and link them to the post Rule four: Actually tell them you tagged them
1. What is the sweetest compliment you have ever been paid?
Oh wow, I don't know. One time a girl in high school told me my hair was like 'baby angel threads'. I have no idea what that means but I think it was a compliment?
2. What has been the best experience of 2013 so far?
Hmm, there have been lots. I think finishing my final year of uni, turning 21, and planning my trip to America with hannah-in-wonderland, have been highlights.
3. Apart from a phone, what is something you always have with you?
Usually my glasses, because they're on my face.
4. Where is the furthest place you have ever been from home?
The UK/Europe. I don't know which of those is technically further away. Geography is not my strong suit.
5. Favourite weather?
Autumn, when its just starting to get a bit brisk outside that you need a jacket, and you can snuggle up in bed with a cup of tea and a book or movie, but it's not so cold yet that it's miserable and you spend your days shivering.
6. Would you rather live off chocolate or lasagna for the rest of your life?
Chocolate. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. How is that even a competition?
7. Who is the closest person to you right now? Where are they?
Like, physically? My parents, who are sleeping in the next room.
8. Who do you feel closest to (emotionally) right now?
Hmmm, perpetual toss-up between my mother, rokaygo and hannah-in-wonderland.
9. What is your most recent purchase?
Umm...junk food. Popcorn and frozen cokes, specifically. (Shut up I went and saw Thor: The Dark World at the movies, junk food was a requirement.)
10. Story (film/book/other) that you feel best represents your life?
Nothing. My life is too uneventful and even-keeled to be represented by a book or movie. Not enough drama. Maybe, like, a book about a girl who finishes university and has no idea what to do with her life. Is there a book like that out there?
I would like to think the story of Peter Pan represents my life, but I know that's just my denial about being an adult and having to do adult things (like oh my god I have to go and get health insurance now, when did this become my life?). I just wanna live in Neverland and hang out with the Lost Boys, is that too much to ask?
11. If you could change one thing about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be?
Having a clue about what to do with the rest of my life, now that my degree is finished. It would be awesome to actually know where I'm headed. Or, failing that, at the very least, for people to stop ASKING me about it, and when I tell them I don't know, to stop suggesting that I become a teacher just because I'm a female English major.
My questions are: 1. If you could only read one book/story for the rest of your life, what would it be? 2. Do you like spending time in your own company, or do you prefer being around other people? 3. 4.Ghost stories or fairy tales? 5.What is your proudest achievement? 7. If you could spend a day with a celebrity (living or dead), who would it be and why? 8. Pick someone close to you (friend, parent, sibling, whoever). Which Hogwarts House would they be sorted into? 9. Breakfast or dinner? 10. If you were able to possess any kind of super power or magical power, but you could only have it for 3 days, what would it be and how would you use it? 11. What was the last movie you watched? Give us a rating out of 5.
