UPDATE: Shake It Off is the perfect song to write Peter to
That is all
I'm really conflicted.
So I definitely don't have time to do nanowrimo. I tried. I just can't with science classes. If it was just lab work it'd be great, working in a lab makes me think creatively, but memorizing facts just makes my writing shit to be quite honest.
I still really want to write this story, but I'm torn between waiting to write it or condensing it into like a thirty page short story.
Shit I haven't done Nanowrimo for a few days because of school and now I'm just not in the mood to write. I mean that might be because I'm sleep deprived and have been studying another language for the past day, which I've noticed messes up my grammar.
Nanowrimo Day 2
Word Count: 5034/50000
Words Written Today: 3342
Favorite Quote: "I learned from a young age that there are many things that are true, and yet are truly unbelievable. Sometimes it’s better to choose not to believe. It’ll keep you sane for longer."
Nanowrimo Day 1
Word Count: 1689/50000 Words Written Today: 1689 (so far) Favorite Quote: "My husband asked me once, in the middle of the night, if I thought he was a monster.
To which I replied, with a smile that he could not see, that we are all monsters if you pull our skin back far enough."
as expected the Nanowrimo research section doesn't know anything about soldiers in the Gulf War that suffer from PTSD
I'm most likely doing Nanowrimo again this November, but unlike this summer I won't be posting quotes every day. I'm actually pretty sad about this because posting those quotes really got me through the month and pushed me to make every word good enough to quote.
But this is a ~super secret project~ and I plan on keeping it ~super secret~
I was thinking about after my current Heroes AU WWII fic I'd write something historical that's about Claire. Since she is a baby for all of my current story.
And then I realized that she would be college aged in the early 60's for the universe I'm writing in and it's unlikely that she ever moved to California, and Gretchen is from Austin. So if they both went college they'd most likely go to the University of Texas.
I may or may not go to the University of Texas.
And I may or may not be very excited about writing this now.
