okay this is probably a gonna be a stupid rant/analysis but i can’t stop thinking about roman godfrey and motherhood. something something how his “dad” blew his head off when he was young, how his mother literally abused him, and how his biological dad didn’t want to consider him as his son. when i told you he was lonely: he was indeed lonely. his friends were only his cousin and his sister.

how he grew up with women throughout his whole life (his cousin, his mother and his sister)

which consequently, in a way, he was more familiar with motherhood than fatherhood—made him a little too sensitive. his understanding about love was a bit crooked but he was tender nonetheless especially towards his cousin and sister (though, again, still a bit ‘fucked up’ but the love was there)
