On the eve of January, 22, 2014 (premonition of sanguinary events at Maidan), Roman Filippov
It was really weird sunset on the eve of January, 22, 2014. All was filled by strange ensanguined light. Next day I painted this landscape as precisely as possible. In the evening I finished my work and watched news. It was said that few people were killed at Maidan (Kiev, Ukraine).

Sacred banyan tree, Roman Filippov
Inspired by my journey to India. Banyan is one of the most impressive trees in the wold. Some of them are said to be sacred trees. A few branches of the tree turn into Tesseract, the four-dimensional analog of the cube which is difficult to imagine. That is a symbol of ideas and things wich are complicated or even impossible to imagine. Linen canvas, oil painting including metallic (bronze) colour. Painting is continued around left and right edges.
