I've come to understand

For better or worse, my mind will always wander back to people --- a person, with fascination and desire for the impossible. If only in dreams and similar sleep like states, branded forever is something I've learned to accept as memory. Often unkind and rarely forgiving, a yearning for what was is replaced by the realities of what cannot be. And yet it lingers, and so I let it.
