there are cards that:
reverse from positive to the negative opposite: ACES, TWOS, SIXES, MOST POSITIVE MAJOR ARCANA AND SUITS
reverse from positive-neutral to more negative: COURT CARDS, WANDS, THREES, SEVENS
reverse from negative to even more negative: ALL NEGATIVE MAJOR ARCANA, FIVES, TENS
reverse from negative-neutral to more negative: FOURS, EIGHTS, NINES
reverse from negative to the positive opposite: NEGATIVE SWORDS
every reader will give you different distributions, alternative decks go by other guideline books, and there are exceptions (e.g. 10 of cups/coins are positive). but once you see which of these five categories a card falls into, you can interpret the romance meaning. e.g. TWO OF CUPS reversed: falling out of love.
