gof: the first task
I am so ridiculous. I choked up after Harry gets past his dragon. Then when Ron comes into the tent afterward and finally realizes Harry didn’t put his name in the goblet and it’s someone trying to harm Harry--like I had to get a tissue. And then they make up like only 14 year old boy’s can and Hermione bursts into tears. I’m not sure Harry or Ron every properly appreciate Hermione. She puts up with so much. I know Ron and Harry are good for her too. Grounding. Ginny finally got mentioned in this chapter and she and Hermione are friends. I can just imagine them sitting at breakfast lamenting the stupidity of 14 year old boys.
Poor, surly Krum.
When Harry walks out into the enclosure and thinks that he wouldn’t let anyone face a dragon without warning them, well... maybe not Malfoy or Snape. I think Harry would tell them. I don’t think he’d be able to help himself with Malfoy. Snape? He might not tell Snape. He might do it anyway just so he can live without himself.
There’s a book in the library called, “Men Who Love Dragons Too Much.”
