"The Kid" 1921
While the end of "City Lights" is legendary, this particular scene with the rooftop rescue from is my absolute favorite of Charlie Chaplin’s features and who doesn't love when he punches the cop off the roof.
I could watch this scene over and over and it never loses it’s impact for me, the music he scored for a 1970's reissue makes it more so.
