Y earning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?
Malleus is very saddened by not having you by his side, but he does not despair. He knows this Child of Man he’s grown to love will be back soon. Yet... why is there this hole where his heart should be without you? Your return should be swift, and Malleus knows this, yet he feels lonely. He didn’t realize how important your presence was until he no longer would be able to see you for a while. His faith in your return is unwavering, however, and he therefore doesn’t come off any different when missing you. He’s still the same intimidating dragon fae roaming the school’s halls. Despite this outward appearance, you seem to be occupying his thoughts a lot more often than usual when you’re gone.
D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?
Rook dreams of frolicking through the fields with you. Teaching you how to hunt. Honestly, Rook’s future dreams are a bit cottagecore. He doesn’t care if it’s more of a simple life, or if you want a bit more extravagant of one. Rook is simply happy to spend his life with son amour. Most people may feel this way when young and in love, but Rook simply does not wish to ever split up with you, and hopes the two of you stay together after school ends.

As one who loudly proclaims the beauty in everyone he sees, Rook honestly comes across like a bit of a flirt. When he compliments you for looking so stunning some days, you really can’t tell what he means by it. When he’s developed feelings for you, the compliments are about the same, but maybe a bit more frequent. It almost seems like he comes out of the woodwork to compliment whomever he has developed feelings for, but that’s the only sign, really.

Rook is an incredible hypeman. He loudly sings the praises of everyone, but especially you. Rook is ready to tell the entire world about how perfect son bel amour is, and probably will if you don’t hold him back. Another thing he brings to your relationship is he is your personal bodyguard. While he’s already known for being almost stalkerish at times, especially to the Savanaclaw students, his protective side stands out much more when around you. Any student who comes too close to hurting his love will suffer.

When you’re not near, Rook seems almost the same. The same talkative boy as always. The sweet words he throws toward others in the school come the same as always. No one notices the look in his eyes. The glint of sadness. The hint of longing. Rook thinks of you with each word he pours forth. The compliments he’d offer toward you. While he doesn’t outwardly show it, his insides are raging with a storm of sadness and yearning. Wont you return soon, cher lecteur?~~
