THE WAY THAT MIRA GETS IN SYNC WITH RUMI JUST LIKE THAT BUT STRUGGLES WITH ZOEY BECAUSE RUMI MAY HAVE BEEM HER FOE BUT ZOEY ACTIVELY DECEIVED HER OH I AM SOBBING!!! And the way she gets along with Abby so quickly because while he was lying it wasn’t specifically to her, nor were his goals tied up in her specifically, Abby didn’t make it personal with Mira in a way that Zoerumi were incapable of holding back from. AAAAAHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

auguughhh yes exactly exactly. mira can only work in tandem with people if she feels she can KNOW and TRUST them. it's why in ch4 when she is reeling from jinu's betrayal, she's all out of sorts and moving far more recklessly. but in ch11-13 now that she like. is fully aware of all information. she's at her peak in the story.

I had to reread master of illusion, because it’s a day ending with ‘y’ you see, so I just wanted to rave about how cool your Mira is. Especially in the latest chapter with the [SPOILERS] and when she [SPOILERED] her [SPOILER] in the face and especially the hate [SPOILERSSS]. I am still in awe.

Spoiler for Ch11

The way that Mira’s missions are emotionally laden and messy within herself (after all this Rumi exposure) while Rumi’s are much sharper and short on description (until The Mira of course), it’s awesome!

The way chapter 9 is called ‘finish line’ even though we’re not at the end yet because it’s about Rumi’s personal finish lines being made redundant (maybe similar to how Mira’s finish line of “catch Rumi and the everything will be alright” finish line was being subverted, then upended completely) I AM HANDLING THIS COMPLETELY NORMALLY AND FINE, WHY DO YOU ASK?

hehehehe yes! rumira parallels always and forever. i have scattered so many of them throughout the fic (for example: ch1, mira says she prefers hearing zoey’s voice in person than over the comms. then ch6, rumi tells zoey she prefers hearing her voice in person than over the phone)

Erros I’ve had an awful 24 hours, the last few specifically, and seeing your girls again was a really helpful breath of fresh air. (It’s always nice to see them and also their angst and a little bit of it is nice to see someone else be miserable for a few minutes)

So thank you again for your awesome fic, I am going to be on the edge of my seat all break!

I know this is spoiler territory so I’ll put in a huge gap and you obviously don’t have to post it but I would like to ask:

How much of the tech side of Rumi’s infiltrations are actually Zoey’s work? For example, when the cameras from the beginning of chapter 1 are looped, did Rumi actually do that or was it Zoey? Because obviously that makes it hilarious that Zoey’s doing some hacking, then telling Mira “Wow whoever did this was absolutely amazing. Don’t you think they were amazing Mira?”

But then again I know that Rumi was actually trained really well, so she could almost certainly do herself. But then again then again what’s the point of putting a specialist in if she’s not doing the stuff. Etcetera etcetera.
