fanfiction asks - 1, 8 and 24 🤘

1. Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?

Daydream! It helps me try to figure out if it’s something I want to write or to see where the story will go. If I like what I’m daydreaming, I’ll write it down. I’ve had a few ideas that struck but chose not to write (or at least not write yet) since I have no goal in mind for it or if it’s something I’m not fully prepared to work on.

2. Where do you get your fic ideas?

My maladaptive daydreams before sleeping and projections and reflections of my innermost self mostly music, at the moment 🙂

3. Do you share your fic ideas, or do you keep them to yourself?

I’ve shared a few on here with some mutuals in our chats but I have so many more I just keep to myself. If I don’t share them, I don’t feel pressured to write it if I decide not to 😅 so I only share what I’m planning to or currently writing

4. How do you choose which fics to write?

5. How many wips do you have?  What fandoms/pairings are they for?

6, and all for TGM! 2 are Fanboy x reader, 3 are Bob x reader (but so far, only 1 is sure relationship-centered, 1 is unidentified relationship but reader appears with Bob, and the last…not sure yet, actually), and 1 is Coyote x reader or OC!

6. What’s the last line you wrote?

After being cramped for hours in an F-14 for the past six days, he was all for giving his legs a little stretch.

7. Post a snippet from a wip.

Twinkling.

They didn’t sparkle like they usually did on those bright nights of city adventures. They didn’t glimmer the way he saw them while getting cozy by the the fireplace.

Tonight, they twinkled. Along with the moon, they illuminated the thick blanket of snow on the ground. Against the dark sky, each soft twinkle lasted long enough for him to give them attention before he moved on to the next one.

24. How do you choose whose POV to write in?

I still struggle with this a lot actually 😅 it mostly depends on whose thoughts I want to get into, and depends on the event, too. Like with Mirrors & Glasses, I originally wanted that to be purely from Bob’s POV. But since the plot revolved mostly around my thoughts reader’s thoughts, I switched it. Or with Sensations, I was aiming ti switch POVs between Rooster and reader, but I ended up conveying more of Rooster’s experience so I kept it as his.
