Hello, wonderful people! My report on the boys and overall experience with Rainbow direction!
Liam- He was being very talkative as always. Liam was being very enthusiastic with the crowd and saying “hello” (Los Angeles!) in the beginning of their song. Louis and Liam also played around at points walking down the runway. Very nice falsettos or head voices in songs.
Zayn- He was himself very “shy” but of course said hello to the crowd, interacted here and there with hand-waves. Also, his singing was very great! He gave his thanks for an incredible night and the past nights as well. The clothes he was wearing was very eye-catching compared to the other boys. Magnificent!
Louis- Yes, Louis was amazing in his solos. He was very goofy making funny faces (adorable if I may say). Greeting the crowd. Talking to Zayn a lot. Smiling a lot if I noticed. I felt that when he sung he would put so much effort in to it! Very proud of him, it touched my heart. Louis gave his thanks “not only once but three times you guys are just… Incredible”. He talked a lot to the birthday boy and asked how is day has been and joked around.
Harry- This boy was very Harry from what I saw. He was very energetic. As I saw he would cough here and there but still kept on going. He kept the audience energetic. Asked question, greeted “We’re One direction” so polite! Harry was enjoying his time there. He gave his story about the birthday boy (I was very fond of how he told the story). Harry was very active moving from one place to the other!
Niall- Oh the birthday boy! Niall was so happy. Always laughing and energetic especially doing an almost split in the air. He was the center of attention and he felt it. Entering with his balloons was a very lovey idea! Interacting with the crowd. The Irish royalty danced and gave us some taste of those Irish roots. Furthermore he smiled loads of times. Played his guitar with excellence!
My experience was wonderful to be there for the boys and to support the Rainbow Direction project! Although I did not see any rainbow or maybe people were very far from me or vice-versa. But, I got comments from people they loved my shirt, and was very “right on” as one guy told me. Another young lady loved the shirt. Many stared but didn’t say anything, were they afraid to say I like your shirt or I don’t, I cannot say but I know got many smiles. I was pretty distal from the Main stage but enough to be seen from the stage in the middle and I cannot prove that any of the boys saw my shirt but Harry pointed to my direction. If he saw wonderful and if he did not it’s okay other people in the stadium saw and that is enough for me! I am really proud for this project and hopefully others can participate! It’s a wonderful experience and GREAT Support for the LGBTQ+ community. Hopefully, I could do this again! I love you guys! Big warm smiles!
