its the bastard old man’s birthday, i must pay my respects
Here’s my six twelve fanarts! I had a lot of fun with these~
marry me miss rosé mulan 😳😳😳😳
rosé's gonna eat tonight 😳
Imagine spending a night out on the town with Rosé, you two are a little more tipsy than either of you would like to admit.
Black Rabbit was the last place you both had visited before the night had ended and the bar closed up.
You both had passed by one of the fancier clubs in the city, hearing jazz-y notes float out from the entrance.
The ambience is soothing despite the chill of the rain. You're caught up humming along until you feel a gentle tug to your hand.
Before you know it, you two are dancing underneath the light of the moon...
Fa Rose
Oh, these split second decisions.
They never turned out /smoothly/ did they?
But how could she have done anything else?
Bouncing rather awkwardly on the three legged beast that passed for a horse on this oppressed planet, and stuffed into a suit of armor that pinched her armpits, and being marched off to fight a /war/ with actual swords and spears, her lesser self was offering up a few choice words and a great many, much better ways she could have dealt with the situation that had gotten her into this mess.
Ah, well.
She was just a sucker for a damsel in distress.
Not for the first time since they’d left the village, Rose glanced over her shoulder.
“Would you stop doin’ tha’?” a voice griped at her from the side.
It was such an unexpected interruption that Rose jumped and the squirrely beast beneath her danced a bit with nerves.
Someone behind her laughed. “You’ve never been on a tonton before, have you?” he sneered, and Rose rolled her eyes. The man didn’t notice. “Typical country boy,” he went on, and Rose didn’t think that was accurate – there’d been a whole herd in the little village. She imagined the real Fa girl would have been able to race circles around this city man.
Honestly, she expected the Doctor to materialize somewhere, once he noticed she was gone, and that would be that. She’d talk him out of bringing the tonton along and they’d be off.
Instead, many hours later, with blisters in places no woman should have to endure and chafing in places she didn’t know she owned, Rose found herself struggling to erect what probably was a tent. Or would have been, if she knew which end went where.
The extent of her wilderness education was basically, Don’t let it eat you.
They were never in one place long enough for Time Lord lectures on how best to set up camp. Who needed camp when you had your own, little world right inside a phone box?
Her plan was a simple one. Wait until most of the camp was asleep, make her escape back the way she came, and meet the Doctor who had BETTER be coming after her.
As plans tend to do, her plan was disrupted when, rather late at night, she heard something rummaging outside her poorly constructed tent. It was so dark that there was not even a shadow cast on the fabric of her tent, but the person obviously did not want to be noticed. Worried that someone might have realized she was a woman (Fa Zulan had made it very clear what happened to women in the army and Rose had no intention of losing her head), Rose quietly grabbed her sword, pulled it free of its sheath, and set it down on her bedroll.
Sheath in hand, brandished like a bat, she waited until the intruder came closer…
And LEAPT out
And SWUNG her fiersome weapon at the
Doctor’s “Doctor?!” head, grimacing at the solid thud it made.
She held her breath, hoping against hope…
…but he went down like a log.
Standing frozen, listening, she was grateful that at least that was the only sound, except for some snoring.
Rose sighed and dragged him into the tent.
Looked like they were staying the night.
