finally finished these guys (had to leave them as sketches tough otherwise. it was never going to be done)! They're all from the Funmania Arcade, a gigantic maze-like arcade that is big enough to house hundreds of people at once, without making the crowd unbearable.
First is Killer Queen Shooter, and he's famous among the arcade for holding several point records on different cabinets. He's particularly good at shooting video games, and has great reflexes and can quickly input complex attack button combos. Killer Queen is often asked to sign autographs, which he gladly does everytime, but that gives him quite the ego...
Second is Rainbow Road Shooter, and he's originally from the Celestial Realm- specifically an area called 'the Weather Factory'. Its name is to be taken literally, as it's a factory that creates rain, sunlight, rainbows etc (though its not responsible for all the planet's weather). Rainbow worked there, but was deeply depressed by his job, thinking of it as repetitive and anything but fulfilling. So one day, he took holidays on the surface of the planet and quickly learned of the popular tourist spot that is the Funmania Arcade. One trip there, and Rainbow was a new man- he never played a video game before, and found all the various stories and graphics to be deeply interesting, and most importantly: very fun! So now he works at the arcade as a playtester, who evaluates if a wip game is fun enough for guests to play. He's particularly fond of racing games, and is no stranger to wild strategic moves that involves skipping a turn or two in the race!
Last is Princess Peach Cocktail, and he might seem out of place in an arcade, as he's all princess-like in appearance and mannerisms. He does in fact come from a royal family, but dislikes courts and other 'fancy' activities and prefers to interact with people, especially when they treat him like any other person instead of praising of his every move... He's an entertainer at the arcade, specifically in a wing with lots of fantasy games- he usually cheers players on and gives out prizes to the winners himself. He likes playing too, but is much more casual and doesn't like fighting games.
