Love to all those effected by the shooting that took place at our local community college last year. Unable to make it to the vigil tonight, my mom and I did a private one with prayers sent up to all who were touched by the violence. May this year bring continued healing. #uccstrong💚 #uccstrong #roseburgstrong
Stop making the UCC shooting a gun issue.
Yes, this sick coward used guns to take innocent lives. But this started because of the person that he was. I'm tired of hearing about whether or not we should enforce more gun laws. Because guess what? It doesn't matter. Bad people who want to hurt other people will find a way to do it, with or without access to a gun. I can agree with certain aspects on both sides of the debate, but that is absolutely not the issue here. The issue is people and that's where we need to start. Please, please stop using this tragedy as a way to start fights about gun control. Can't we just focus on the victims, their families, and the UCC/Roseburg community as a whole? We owe them that much. And as a proud Oregonian, I'm asking you all to please keep this community in your thoughts and prayers. They need all the support they can get right now.
My best friends brother goes to Umpqua Community College where a massacre took place today. By fate he decided not to go to campus today. Keeping all my fellow Oregonians and impacted families and friends in my thoughts.
