♡ she finds that they share some similar qualities and thinks nothing more of it, at first. learning a bit more about her and her UM, she begins to secretly admire that nezumi has that kind of power over people. of course, she’d never, EVER admit that to anyone.

The Gilded Bluebird
Witching Hour Academy’s shadow-play showtime!
Once upon a time, the Rose Witch had stumbled upon a strange sight...
A darling bluebird sang, melodious and dulcet, as it sway inside a gilded cage. Pristine mirrors covered it's walls all around, with the darling bluebird dancing at it's center.
"Gilded bluebird, are you having a ball of one?" asked the Rose Witch.
"No, not at all!" The bird chirped joyously. "I am dancing with my prince."
The Rose Witch looked around the tiny cage, but could see naught except the fine mirrors. Then, when the light hit the edge and the angle was right, it did seem as if there was another bluebird. Roughed feathers held the gilded bluebird soft ones. And then the angle shifted, and the image shimmered and dissapeared.
"That is him, my prince. He shall never leave me, he shall ever look only at me, and he shall protect me from all that is foul outside. We shine here, together, as one!" Sing sang the happy bluebird.
The Rose Witch traced a finger on the finely ornamented cage.
"Dear bluebird, your prince is not here. It's an illusion." Her fingers undid the delicate clasp of the cage, and the bluebird was took aback.
"I cannot abandon him."
"If he ever was true, he has long since disappeared from your world. Come see."
With shaking wings did the bluebird settle on the Rose Witch's hand, then shoulder, seeing that miniature garden from above for the first time in life. And indeed, there was no prince. Only mirrors.
"What am I to do now..." It cried, and cried, and cried. The Rose Witch took heart on it's sorrow.
"That which shines is outside. The sun, the stars, the dewdrops of the morning." She placed a small clock on the bluebirs'rd neck. "Time will dull this pain, and your gilded feathers shall shine once more."
And so the witch departed, and the bluebird clutched that clock as if it were her lifeline. Those memories of her prince and their miniature garden would never be true again. But- if so many things shine outside, then one ough to be fit to be her prince. One ought to bring her shine back. It was not too late.
Fearing the foul of the world outside, the gilded bluebird held that clock dear to her chest. Thigh, so thighly, she forgot her wings were not meant to hold but to fly.
Did the Rose Witch wish to free her? But, was it really such a good idea?

I mean, Cat’s a pretty nice upperclassman, but shes…quirky? Unique??? She scared the crap out of me once when I was looking for Tomomi once. Cat just popped out of nowhere, and I nearly whacked her with my training sword! She ended up being pretty helpful in the end, though, pointing me the right way and all.
I heard that she’s a rebellious gal, so that’s pretty cool. Maybe even someone to learn tips from! Tomomi wouldn’t like that though… eh, I’ll just tell her I was doing club work.”

I heard that she and miss Ali are best friends. With how they are, it’s like they were made for eachother. It’s so sweet— and reminds me of me and Kazue! She might disagree, though.
Those tattoos… Hm~ quite unprofessional if you ask me, even as a dorm leader, and especially as a lady. They don’t make her look quite noble or anything, rather, it feels inappropriate. The only people back in my homeland who wear tattoos are vagrants and criminals. Maybe she’s having a rebellious phase?
“A great businessman, and an even better dorm-leader. Doomsday is a fellow that I could learn a lot from. He’s certainly… eccentric, though.
He’s been offering to show me the Ink and Paint club to relax, but it’s always while I’m working, so I’ve been rejecting Doomsday every time. What I’ve heard, however, is that the drinks are phenomenal. If this rumor is true, I might ask him and his club to cater drinks for Caldera’s next party. Any price should do, they just have to be good enough for our tastes.
Other than that, he’s got quite the personality, puns and all. Mimia and Daryn don’t like the fact that Doomsday smokes, but I honestly don’t mind. I’m already used to that kind of smell back home. Of course, I don’t smoke myself, Kendrick might end up doing it then.

Nezumi definitely goes for aesthetic, albeit unconsciously. She has others duel for her anyways, so why should she need to dress up? She’s all too focused on changing the world to realize any of this, however.
She also likes heels, it gives her a more refined appearance!
Tomomi’s outfits are always based on fashion, although a sense of function is always hidden in them. Her outfit is designed to make her appear like a prince while still falling into the realm of “girly”. She also prefers heels, since they make her taller than other girls.
She does like skirts, but she just stopped wearing them one day.
Kazue’s outfit, despite not looking functional, is actually designed specifically for fighting! She depends a lot on how well she can move around in duels, so tight pants, long sleeves, and heels are a total no-no in her eyes.
She does like heels, though. But not as much as her flat shoes and stockings!

“She’s that sad-looking upperclassman, right? I’ve seen her around in the battle tower near my club’s room. Her form is like, super sloppy, but she swings super hard, which is pretty good if you’re trying to knock someone out. For dueling though? Hah! You’d get a warning at the very LEAST.
I feel a bit bad from all the rumors about Suzu’s hometown, though. Calling a girl cursed for no reason? Ugh, reminds me of those cruddy witch hunts in history, I’d strike those idiots down if I were her!”
