“ YOOSH ! “ With a brazen front, Yuuki tugs the knob of the school library to open, determination giving her eyes a glint of flame. “ KURENAI-SAN ! good morn— ―” An abrupt stop in her movements left Yuuki wide-eyed & paralyzed by the entrance to the library. She was used to seeing the rows of tables filled with students, sunlight drifting from the opened windows that gave a feeling of serenity as you pass by the bookshelves.

Yuuki failed to input that she was going to the NIGHT CLASS side of the library at night ! Suddenly heat flushes to her cheeks as she awkwardly lower her right hand that was about to give a wave to the lady sitting by the window. “ — ―evening ?  a-a ! mornvening ? I meant... HI ?” She finished lamely, only realizing her imagine spot for this scenario did a three-sixty degree in real life.

the beach just off the path into town had once been a place to clear her head, to ponder about the gap in her memories. now it was the place she waited, collecting shells or preparing for the next day's classes with the sand beneath her feet as sora & riku worked with tutors to catch up on their missed year.

it felt strangely normal, like a state she had once believed they would never return to. home was beginning to feel real & tangible again, but it still felt delicate, like it could be pulled from them at any moment. though it was a feeling that lingered with her, she was reluctant to share it with her friends, not wanting to interrupt their peace with her worries.

her thoughts came to a stop as she reached the beach, spotting a figure already there. the matching uniform marked her as a schoolmate, though kairi found she didn't recognize her. her initial reaction was to take a step away, maybe leave the beach altogether, but she felt silly considering it. instead, she approached, swinging her school bag lightly in her hand.

“ I think it’s a good idea !” A tumbler of vanilla ice cream in her arm & a scoop on her hand, Yuuki approached the empty glass. “ I mean — it’s likeCOKE FLOAT but with a red tablet ! ” If there was any uncertainty, Yuuki masked it with her smile.( that wasn’t fooling anyone ) “ It’d be great ! ”

               YUKI REALLY SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAYING MORE ATTENTION - for a guardian of cross academy , she sure tended to space out more than she probably should . in her own head as the other flopped onto her , she wasn’t aware enough in the present moment to ground herself , && both of them end up collapsing over onto the floor .

​              ❝ ow ... oh ! ❞ she’s snapped out of worrying about her own injuries as soon as she realizes who it was who’d caused her to lose her balance , all of yuki’s worry then shifting over to the other . ​❝ m - maria !! are you okay ? that didn’t hurt you at all , right ? geez -- if i wasn’t daydreaming i would have stopped us from falling ! ❞

            HONESTLY , there’s a good chance they would have fallen regardless .

child eyes would look upon the older girl, head lolled to the side as he held tightly onto his toy. the cognition, a version of ren when he was no more but a young child, felt fright and curiosity. within this maze was only he and she, or at least that’s as far as he knew.

“ w-who are you? ” he asks, voice slightly shaky since he felt fear without his father around.
