‘ it’s suddenly very important that i get drunk. ’ (roseheired, dance)
@roseheired
“well.” marcus said, clapping the older man on the back. “you have come to the right person.”
WITH an internal humility, marcus reaffirmed to himself that asce really had come to the right person. if there was something troubling him, that he wanted to drink about? marcus was the guy. especially considering their family ( though they weren’t blood related but, honestly, small details ) consisted of people who weren’t really drinkers. dancers tended to look out for their diets - after all. even marcus wasn’t a huge drinker, but he was friends with a handful of borderline alcoholics && had learned of quite a few great spots through them.
BESIDES marcus wouldn’t push him to talk about whatever was up. it wasn’t really his style. no, his style when it came to emotional things was more to dutifully ignore any weirdness the other person was giving off unless the they really wanted to talk about it. in which case he would nod supportively while they spoke.
( he’d tried to give advice. a couple of times. but then someone actually followed said advice once &&& now he doesn’t give advice anymore. )
“what are you feeling, asce? a little hole in the wall dive bar, a nice quiet place to drink to your hearts content? some club you can distract yourself from whatever is bothering you at? or, if you’re feeling particularly dirty, I happen to know of a strip bar that is classy enough you might actually have fun at. your choice, buddy.”
