Have you seen Yggdra Union? It's the most FE game I know that isn't FE. GBA game - has a small cast with unique traits, very focused on character and plot, no generic player units to be seen. Now on Switch and Steam!

i think someone else may have suggested this one a while back when i'd asked about FE-like games a previous time? i looked into it and (from what i could tell) it seemed a bit more like an Advance Wars type thing, where you have named "captain" units but a lot of it is still abstractions for army units and bases and resources and stuff. stylistically it seems neat but (if my experience with Wargroove is anything to go off of) it's probably not my thing unfortunately

Thank you for your recent cream investigations! I couldn't help noticing a bunch of Warhammer sprues and paints behind you, but I don't think I've ever seen you post about it. What's your game and army of choice?

Ok so first of all, thank you so much for watching my video! I realise it's pretty niche and weird so I'm incredibly grateful anybody's willing to listen to me prattle on.

Those are my spouse's! We share our studio, so about half the space is taken up by my art and sewing supplies and the other half is his mostly Warhammer workshop. And some general storage. And a lot of things we really need to have a good sort through. As you do.

I asked him this question and he said Horus Heresy, and he has a lot of Thousand Sons Traitor stuff and lately he's looking at getting more into Mechanicum.

I've painted one (1) Warhammer figure but I'd love to do more of them!

does that include the other Clone Wars series (the 2D animation one from 2003)? I know it's not considered as good as the later one, but I have a soft spot for it!

I also have a soft spot for it, Tartakovsky has a really unique style! I didn’t list it because it’s not part of the Disney canon, and it’s not consistent with the story (e.g. General Grievous is wheezing throughout Filoni’s series whereas in Tartakovsky’s series, that only happens when Obi-Wan crushes his lungs at the end).

Knowing Jackie though, I bet she’d love to see where characters like Grievous and Ventress came from, so we should totally watch it.

Hi you're really cool and you probably get this a lot, but: I'm doing a Chandra cosplay (sort of modern AU so I can get away with a leather jacket instead of chainmail and armour) and I'm having trouble with the gauntlet! Did you use the foam-base-with-a-melted-sheet-of-worbla-over-the-top method for yours? Is it all one piece, or do you have the push light on a glove separate from the made bracer? Thanks for reading and sorry if this should be obvious from your pics :)

my old version was made like that, yeah. i used wonderflex over a foam sheet, and what you can’t see from the pics is that it lights up and the wire from the light runs right through the wonderflex. and the part on the hand is a separate piece and connected to the glove. i actually have a new one now that i haven’t finished, and i actually had it commissioned, but i don’t think the friend who made it has a tumblr or i’d say go check out his work because he is super talented.
