@rosewrists IT WAS ONE SCENE
@rosewrists is out here giving me emotions, IT’S FINE.
“Yeee— Perrie, are you an exception to the rule?”
She walks a little ways ahead of him on their trek to Hogsmeade and he trails behind her trying to step into each crater she’s made in the snow with her own boots. However, on the instances that he does manage to get his foot into one of the craters, he widens them-- Neville has never been one with good balance. He wobbles into each narrow crater, making them look more like a bear’s pawed its way through rather than two young teens. He’d only asked his question because he nearly fell. And upon nearly falling, he’d uttered an alarmed squeak.
He wanted her to think it was him trying to grab her attention rather than him almost falling.
“Th-The exception to the Slytherin rule,” He sounds winded. Internally, Neville cheers himself on for regaining his balance and for coming up with a clever question on the spot. “‘Cos they’re all such foul gits-- R-Really, all of them. 'Cept you..”

@rosewrists gets a semi-plotted starter.
“She knows there’s something going on.”
He spoke quietly, almost as if he feared that someone might surprise them and hear what he was saying, and if Theodore was entirely honest, he had to admit that this was exactly what he was scared of. What he was doing here was the exact opposite of what he was supposed to do. Nonetheless, it felt like the only right thing to do.
“Or at least she suspects there’s something, and she’s determined to find out what it is. You’d better be careful.”
haze eyes starred deep into the mirror. hands smoothed her almost untameable curls ( inherited from her mother ) . lips pursed together before going back to their normal position. she was scared. too scared. this wasn’t her first opera. no, not close. but don juan was looking like it would be a test to her acting abilities. a plan, set in motion by her beloved, raoul. forced to go along, not wanting to hurt anyone. but forced to do ‘ i don’t want to do this. i can’t. raoul, i can’t betray him !! ‘

Sirius in the library is quite an uncommon sight. Seeing him working is rare, but not impossible. But alone? Not trailing after Remus, bitching and whining about how they could be doing literally anything else? It is possible this is the first ever time it’s happened. Which might be why, as Marlene rounds the corner, he risks death and dismemberment from Madam Pince - by discarding his substantial pile of books at the sight of her - literally throwing them at a book trolley as if they were burning him.
