Hello! I would like to ask, what is the upkeep on your stitches is like? To occupy a host for longer periods of time, there must be some health risks.

Finally, a curious mind; my first question here, and it's essentially a medical inquiry. How very utilitarian of you, though I can appreciate the pragmatism when forming a base of understanding around something as complex as my cursed technique. Color me surprised.

As for the sutures themselves, they are not ordinary surgical scars, as you may have guessed. The seam is the result of a binding vow tied directly to the execution of my technique; a permanent condition that prevents the scar from ever healing in full. As for what the binding vow entails... If I told you now, I’d be robbing you of the gift of anticipation, hmm? Some secrets are better kept.

However, during the first few weeks of occupying a new vessel, the fresh sutures itch incessantly, and moving the eyebrows often pulls at the thread. While I can't simply heal the wound away with reverse cursed technique like I would other inconveniences, I'm not so lazy as to neglect it entirely. Typical wound care is adequate enough, a sterile solution to prevent infection and careful hands.

This is only needed for a short while after opening the initial wound. Eventually the threads themselves are unnecessary as the skin closes and leaves the permanent scar; unless it's opened again, of course.

A disappointingly mundane answer, perhaps. Even so, it would be rather humiliating if a thousand years of planning were undone by an infected forehead, no? Tempting though it may be, I can't recommend letting the brain play peekaboo any longer than what's necessary.

I find the center and the corners equally worthwhile. Texture, like people, becomes considerably less interesting when it's predictable and uniform. This era even devised a pan solely to maximize the number of edge pieces. I remember seeing an advertisement for it.

...Edible. Dark chocolate is the only choice for brownies. Might I suggest replacing the oil content with Greek yogurt for more richness and tang? Not to mention ease on the arteries.

If you hadn’t planned to consume Mahito, would you have kept him around? So to say, was there any other benefit to his company?

The short answer is no. The disaster curses and I operated on a strictly business-esque relationship. We were essentially using one another to fulfill our own ends, and trust was never shared between us. Mahito was difficult to control even before its growth began, and I was lucky to have been so successful in my grooming persuading and guiding to keep the frivolous creature under my thumb as long as I did. "Betrayal", for lack of better word, was inevitable, though Mahito's chaos certainly kept me on my toes.

Its perspective on the soul was rare, and it had the capacity for exceptional potential; though this is exactly what made keeping it such a danger to me. Had the situation come to it, a battle between myself and the disaster curses would've been fairly challenging, even with Cursed Spirit Manipulation.

However.. if I had access to Mahito say, 150 years prior, it could've been an instrumental variable in my experiments crossing human and curse. In truth, I had an inkling of a desire to play with Mahito more in this way, but the opportunity to sate my curiosity seldom arouse in the few months we shared. Perhaps next incarnation.

I was going to ask what you’d like to be remembered for. However, I suppose the better question is, do you wish to be remembered?

To be remembered is a deeply human preoccupation.

People so often project their own vanity onto others, imagining that a grand design must be driven by a hunger for fame or a desire to sit upon a throne of some form of legacy. But names are entirely trivial things for me, fleeting labels pinned to temporary vessels that are discarded just as easily as old clothes. History hardly even recalls me as myself; with my original name long unused, my feats are scattered across many titles. Noritoshi Kamo, Suguru Geto, sometimes, only a forehead scar. I am not a figure like that of Sukuna, who has been recalled for ages, and that is very deliberate.

​ Legacy is more for those who wish to anchor themselves to the past. My interest has always been in the future. Samurai once regarded the mukade for its constant forward motion. I am very much like a mukade.

​I do not care whether my name survives in the annals of Jujutsu society. What satisfaction is there in statues or stories when you can have observation? The joy of the experiment, the true, exquisite thrill of discovery, lies not in basking in the applause of the world you shaped, but in standing witness to the outcome. To see what form collective consciousness takes when the boundaries between human and curse are blurred and forced to evolve, when the merger finally-

What is the first thing that you tend to notice about people? And, is there anything that you consider most important to know about someone?

A very good question; be proud.

While it's difficult to narrow down the scan that is a first impression, I'd say attentiveness. Within minutes of meeting someone, I can tell whether they are actually perceiving their surroundings or merely reacting to them. ​I look at their eyes, their posture, how they hold themselves in a room, whether or not they meet my sight. Are they guarded? Naive? Sluggish? Overly confident? People advertise their vulnerabilities in the way they stand and dress long before they ever speak. It allows me to instantly sort them into categories: Is this person a potential nuisance I need to calculate for, or are they a tool I can utilize? Is this person worth noting, or are they simply a background character that lacks real personality? That's overabundant these days.

​ The single most important thing to know about anyone, however, is their predictability. I don't care about a person's surface morals or loyalties; those are remarkably cheap and easily manipulated. I care about how they behave under stress, what they crave, and whether they are capable of surprising me. How honest an individual is plays a very large role in this; both with themselves and others. If someone is completely predictable, they may be useful in the same way a tool is, but ultimately dull. If they are capable of breaking out of their expected parameters... well, that is when they have my attention for a fleeting moment.

Body language speaks volumes; how a person describes themselves and situations speaks volumes, if you know how to read beyond their words alone. The more important skill is the ability to pay close attention to others and read their inventions yourself, and understand where their biases may come from, and where they may be applied. Find where the cracks are and remember them.

Have you ever occupied a host with recurrent health issues?

Yes, naturally. Humans are like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get. Or something to that affect...

Some are healthier than others. Age, injuries, congenital conditions... they're all to be taken into consideration, but rarely are these disqualifying factors, especially with RCT, though it depends on what the body offers and what functions I need served.

If it suffers from chronic illnesses or pain... well, chronic pain has accompanied humanity for as long as humanity has existed. One adapts. I've noticed that, strangely, people are attached to the idea that a body must be perfect in order to be of use to me. This is far from the truth. All bodies have inherent flaws in some way or another. And if they don't currently, they will eventually. That is the reality of how aging works.

Now, does my own cursed technique and function sometimes bleed into my vessels? Perhaps; but that's a conversation for another time.

Though I admit persistent seasonal allergies tested my patience more than any curse ever has.

Do you believe in fate?

It depends on what definition of fate you have in mind.

I believe in the universe largely acting in patterns and cycles and fate is exactly that, in my experience.

There are cycles in this world that pull certain people together. The Six Eyes, the Star Plasma Vessel. Tengen. Myself. I spent centuries learning that lesson the hard way. No matter how many times I intervened, history seemed intent on correcting itself.

All it took was one man that wasn't part of that pattern who fate failed to account for. One anomaly, standing outside the flow of cursed energy, and a cycle that had endured for centuries destroyed in an afternoon.

I'd like to discover whether it can be broken in other places as well.

How much do you truly remember after living for so long?

Certainly less than one may expect. The human brain, even one reinforced by jujutsu, was never designed to hold a thousand years of continuous, granular narrative. Had I tried to preserve every mundane meal, every face, or every trivial conversation spanning my many years to the modern day, I'd lose track of far more important things. I prioritize retaining discoveries, binding vows. Faces and names attached to moments that will be relevant in the future. Times I witnessed a cursed technique I'd never conceived of before, conversations that changed the course of history and my plans. These can be categorized more as business. I've kept journals and records. Even I occasionally find myself thinking, "What was the name of that yokai? Did I really do that? What year was this in?" Reading of my own exploits after hundreds of years, especially when I have forgotten pieces, is something I rather enjoy. What makes my existence truly fascinating is the dual nature of my recall. Whenever I take a new vessel, I inherit that body's entire lifetime of memories as well. These I seldom keep unless they contain crucial information that may be of use to me, or even rarer, have vivid memories of experiences I find exciting. My mind is likely much messier than most would initially assume. The saying, 'there's a method to my madness', and 'order to the chaos' come to mind; apt descriptors. Though every so often I'll remember a voice I haven't heard in eight hundred years with perfect clarity… and forget why I walked into a room five minutes ago. The mind has an odd sense of humor.
